We know that it can be difficult to think of things to pray about sometimes – not that there is a lack of things! Sometimes our own thoughts just get in the way.
Firstly, take some time to thank and praise God for who He is and what he has done for you and others. There are 7 sections below which have lots of prayer ideas. 1: Friends and Family
- For family foundations: That our homes would be places of safety, unconditional love, and spiritual growth.
- For deep connection: To strengthen family bonds and help us understand the true, God-given meaning of family.
- For those struggling with faith: For friends, family, and young people who have lost or are currently struggling with their faith in God.
- For the elderly: For the aging members of our families, that they would feel deeply valued, respected, and physically supported.
- For the lonely: Comfort for family members or friends who feel isolated, that they would experience God’s close presence and community connection.
- For marriages: For strength, patience, and resilient love within marriages, especially during difficult seasons.
- For the grace of forgiveness: For all of us to be able to forgive family members who have hurt us, as well as the humility to seek forgiveness when we fail.
