What is Haven?

Haven is a Christian Church Community based in Coalisland, Co. Tyrone. It is made up of people from the town and the surrounding area who are seeking to follow Jesus together in everyday life. We are an open and welcoming community where people of all ages, backgrounds and experiences can find friendship, support and a place to belong.

At the heart of Haven is a simple desire: to know Jesus more deeply, grow in faith, and build genuine community with one another. We gather regularly to pray, read and explore the Bible, worship together, share meals and encourage each other through the ups and downs of life. If you have followed Jesus for many years, are completely new to faith, or are simply curious and searching, there is space for you here.

We meet every Sunday at The Cornmill in Coalisland, and throughout the week in homes and various locations. Our gatherings are relaxed, authentic and centred around building real relationships with God and with each other.

Haven is not part of any church denomination. People from many different church traditions, faith backgrounds and community backgrounds are part of the Haven family. What unites us is not a denomination or label, but a shared desire to follow Jesus and discover what it means to live out His message in practical ways today.

We believe church is more than just a Sunday meeting — it is about walking through life together, supporting one another, serving our community and creating spaces where people can encounter Jesus. Everyone is welcome, and there is no expectation to have everything figured out before coming along.
